Description:
Vestiture sparsely hirsute on leaves only, with numerous prominent glandular hairs scattered over the whole plant.
Involucre 5.5-7.5 mm long; bracts oblong to narrowly elliptic, acute to acuminate, with the margins ciliate near the apex; ray florets 2- or 3-seriate, white to mauve.
Achene flattened, narrowly cuneate, 3-4.5 mm long; marginal ridges glabrous except near the summit; faces with ribs all extending to the summit, glabrous in the lower half with non-glandular hairs in the upper half; pappus bristles multisetlate, barbellate, 6-7 mm long.
