Description:
Annual herb 10-30 cm high; stems erect, widely branched; vestiture sparsely hispid, viscid with numerous glandular hairs; leaves flat, oblong to oblanceolate, 1.5-4 cm long, 2-8 mm wide, entire or with 1 or 2 pairs of small obtuse lateral lobes; apices obtuse; lower leaves broader with subamplexicaul bases.
Involucres 6-7 mm long; bracts linear, acuminate, glandular-pubescent; ray florets 1- or 2-seriate, pink to purple.
Achene flattened, obovate to oblanceolate, 2.5-3.5 mm long; marginal ridges pale, prominent, glabrous; faces smooth, darker, with short scattered non-glandular hairs; pappus bristles 1- or 2-seriate, barbellate, 3.5-5 mm long.
