Description:
Small weak annual with flaccid filiform leaves and scapes; leaves usually longer than the scapes, which are 2-8 cm long.
Racemes dense, 5-25 mm long, almost truncate at the top and the base, 10-25-flowered.
Fruits subsessile, angular-oblong, c. 1.75 mm long, the 3 fertile carpels c. 1 mm broad, flat on back, acute at the summit and the base, with 2 scarious 2-angled wings, so that the whole fruit is 6-angled on its back, no basal spurs.
