Description:
Slender annual with illiform leaves shorter than the erect or ascending scape, which is 5-15 cm high.
Racemes 2-6 cm long, 6-23-flowered.
Fruits narrowly pyramidal, 3-5 mm long, c. 1 mm thick near the base, on slender pedicels 1-3 mm long; each fertile carpel keeled down the back when dry, with no prominent spurs, but only 2 short acute protuberances at the base of each carpel.
