Citation: J. Black, Fl. S. Aust. 231 (1924).

Synonymy: S. glauca With. var. tenella Benth., Fl. Aust. 1:158 (1863).

Common name: None

Description:
Perennial or annual glabrous herbs; stems and branches usually in clumps, to c. 10 cm long; leaves dense, narrow-linear, 3-4 mm long.

Peduncles 1-6 mm long; sepals obtuse, c. 2 mm long; petals equalling or slightly longer than the sepals, 2-fid.

Capsule c. 2 mm long; seeds c. 5, reddish-brown, granular, c. 1 mm diam.

Distribution:    N.S.W.; Vic.; ?Tas.

Flowering time: Oct. — Dec.

Biology: No text

Taxonomic notes: Both H. Eichler (1965) Suppl. and Jacobs and Pickard (1981) Plants of New South Wales consider that this should be treated as a distinct, as yet un-named, species.
