Description:
Bracts c. 4.2 x 2 mm; bracteoles to 5.5 X 3 mm, apiculate, shorter than the perianth which is 5-11 mm long; perianth-segments clothed with copious stiff snow-white hairs more or less obscuring the violet-purple to pink colour, shorter towards the apex; ovary usually hairy around the summit.
