Description:
Leaves longer, rather ovate, spikes to 50 X 11 mm; bract and bracteoles to 4.5 x 3 mm, lightly hairy; outer segments 3-5 X c. 2 mm, dorsal hairs to c. 10 mm; ovary c. 1.8 mm long, cupule with minute teeth.
