Description:
Stems (to 30 and more) forming bushes.

Heads mostly hemispherical, to 3.5 cm diam., more loosely flowered; bracteoles usually longer than the dark-brown bract; perianth to 17.5 mm long, segments with denser dorsal hairs to c. 6 mm long.
