Description:
Tall fairly woody climber to 1-2 m or more; roots fibrous; cladodes fine, in clusters of up to 10, to 10 mm long; final branches and cladodes all in one plane.
Flowers 1-3, bisexual, whitish or cream-white, on peruncles jointed near the middle; berry c. 6 mm diam., subglobose, red.
