Polygonum plebeium

Synonymy: Not Applicable Common name: Small knotweed.
Description:
Glabrous prostrate annual; stems wiry, to 50 cm long; leaves linear-oblong, l-nerved, 6-15 mm long; stipular sheath long, lacerate, silvery.
Flowers in 2-5-flowered axillary clusters similar to those of P. aviculare but closer together, dusky-pink.
Nut trigonous, brown, smooth and shining, c. 1.5 mm long.
