Stems erect; cauline leaves elliptical to linear, never crowded.

Peduncles 3-10 cm long, passing into the leafy stems; capitula usually several together.

Distribution:  Occurs in woodland, mallee, and on sand dunes, typically on sites of higher nutrient status.
