Common name: None

Description:
Stems very short, ascending, forming a dense clump; cauline leaves oblanceolate, crowded, semisucculent.

Peduncles scape-like, 8-15 cm long, distinct from the stems; capitula solitary.

Distribution:  On sea cliffs and coastal sand dunes.

S.Aust.: EP, YP, SL, KI.

Flowering time: Sept. — Nov.

Biology: The varieties of P. rugata are distinct throughout most of their ranges but appear to intergrade at the south-western tip of Yorke Peninsula.
