Description:
Perennial herb or undershrub 15-50 cm high; stems erect, narrowly winged, glabrous to subglabrous, woody below; leaves narrowly lanceolate, decurrent at the base, acute, 1-3 cm long, 2-4 mm wide, sparsely denticulate, subglabrous.
Capitula 2-5, shortly pedunculate in dense corymbose groups on leafy branchlets arranged in looser cymes; involucres hemispherical; bracts c. 4-seriate, narrowly lanceolate, 2-4 mm long, the outer ones glandular, the inner ones glabrous, with acuminate apices; female florets numerous; corollas 2- or 3-toothed, pink.
Achenes c. 0.8 mm long, glabrous, brown; pappus bristles 7-15, c. 2 mm long, smooth; disk florets 8-14, shorter than the female florets; corollas 5-toothed, pink; style entire.
