Description:
Low much branched undershrub; leaves and involucral bracts covered with long coarse antrorse hairs which are fewer and finer on the upper surface.

Involucral bracts 8-10; flowers 40-50 in each head, female in all specimens seen; pedicels covered with short fine hairs; perianth 6.5-10.5 mm long, covered outside with short fine hairs and additional long coarse antrorse ones on the persistent base.

	Pimelea octophylla subsp. subvillifera flower, outer and inner surfaces of leaves, outer and inner surfaces of bracts.
