Common name: Spreading phebalium.
Description:
Shrub to 70 cm; branchlets minutely stellate to glabrous; leaves with petioles c. 1 mm long; lamina ovate to broadly ovate, 3-5 x 2-4 mm, subcordate, obtuse to rounded, glabrous or minutely stellate.
Inflorescence terminal, a 2-4-flowered umbel-like cluster, a short peduncle to 3 mm sometimes evident in the axils of the uppermost leaves or bracts, sometimes appearing more than 20-flowered per cluster by internode reduction; pedicels 2-4 mm long; calyx lobes c. 0.5 mm long, glabrous; petals narrowly obovate, c. 4 mm long, white to pink; anthers pink; gynoecium 5-carpellate; carpels c. 1 mm high, glabrous, apex rounded.
Cocci c. 4 mm high; apex rounded, glabrous, finely corrugate; seeds c. 3 mm long.
