Description:
Spreading shrub to 1.5 m, with a sparse or abundant tomentum of erect or appressed simple hairs; leaflets 23-55, obovate, mostly emarginate, sometimes mucronate.

Flowers 1-3 in short racemes, each subtended by a pair of linear bracts; sepals 5, acute; petals 5, obovate, shortly clawed, deep-yellow, 1 marked with red.

Pod flat, obliquely oblong, elastically dehiscent; seeds 4-6, with a rounded cap-like aril.

Distribution:  S.Aust.: NW.   W.Aust.: N.T.; Qld.

Conservation status: native

Flowering time: Aug. — Sept.
