Description:
Annual herb to 30 cm high, aromatic; stems branched from the base, ascending, weak, becoming decumbent, glandular-pubescent, often woody at the base; leaves narrowly lanceolate to oblanceolate, the lower ones attenuate at the base, entire or shallowly dentate, 2-5 cm long, 2-5 mm wide, glandular-pubescent.
Capitula solitary on peduncles 1-2 cm long with a few reduced leaves; involucral bracts 6-9, uniseriate, lanceolate, subequal, 3-5 mm long, glandular; ray florets 8-12; ligules 5-7 mm long, yellow.
Achenes c. 4 mm long, mostly laterally wrinkled, light-brown, polymorphic, many beakless with 2 or 3 scarious wings, others wingless with a cup-shaped hollow beak, or horn-shaped with a terete solid beak, or wingless and beakless.
