Description:
Herb to 0.7 m high or more, often with many stems; leaves and stems mostly glabrous; leaves mostly radical with narrowly winged petioles to 5 or more cm long, uppermost cauline leaves subsessile to sessile; lamina to 11 rarely 19 cm long, elliptic to spathulate or narrowly so, upper leaves narrower.
Inflorescence few-branched, paniculate, pubescent with glandular hairs; calyx 4-10 mm long; corolla tube 10-19 mm long, 1-3 mm wide at the top of the calyx; limb 6-12 mm diam., lobes obtuse to emarginate; upper 4 stamens level or almost so.
Capsule 5-10 mm long, ellipsoid or ovoid-ellipsoid; seeds 0.5-1 mm long, C-shaped; testa wrinkled.
