Description:
Weakly straggling or climbing to 1 m; roots bearing distant tubers; cladodes ternate (paired at the base of the branches), flat or angled, 3-9 mm long, less than 1 mm broad, with 1 vein.
Flowers single, bisexual, whitish with a green or brown stripe, on peduncles jointed near the summit; berry 8-15 mm long, ovoid, pale-coloured.
