, Muehlenbeckia diclina Common name: Twiggy (or weeping or slender) lignum.
Description:
Erect shrub with numerous slender wiry branches; leaves 2-4 cm long or more, c. 1 mm wide, lanceolate or linear and usually plano-convex or trigonous.
clusters 1-3-flowered, axillary; female flowers shortly pedicellate; perianth divided to the base into segments c4 mm long and succulent in fruit.
Nut almost globular, obtuse, black, smooth or rugulose.
