Common name: Slender-leaved, (or slender or fine-leaved) sandwort.
Description:
Stems erect, 3-20 cm high, branched at the base and above the middle; leaves c. 12 mm long, glabrous, wide at the base, sharply acuminate, sessile and not very prominently 3-nerved.
Flowers on pedicels sometimes longer than the calyx; sepals linear-lanceolate, acute, c. 4 mm long, minutely glandular-hairy, with narrow scarious margins and 3 prominent nerves; petals slightly shorter than the sepals or none; stamens 3-5 or sometimes 10.
Capsule oblong-conical, about as long as the calyx; seeds c. 15, minutely tuberculate, reddish-brown.
