Description:
Peduncles distinct, with much reduced leaves, to 5 cm long; involucral bracts 10-16 rarely 18, 4-5 mm long, greenish, glandular-pubescent and often somewhat cobwebby, manifestly free; florets 30-70.

Achenes 3-5.5 mm long, with beaks 0.5-1.5 mm long; pappus usually absent.

Distribution:  On sand dunes.

S.Aust.: NW, LE, NU, GT, FR.   W.Aust.; N.T.
