Citation: Schwantes, Reprium nov. Spec. Regni veg. 43:257 (1938).

Synonymy: Mesembryanthemum papulosum L.f., Suppl. 259 (1782).

Common name: None

Description:
Prostrate annual up to c. 50 cm diam.; leaves 40-70 X 7-12 mm.

Peduncles 4-8 mm in flower, enlarging in fruit; perianth lobes 3-8 mm long; petaloid staminodes 2-5 mm long.

Capsule c. 1.3 cm diam.
