Citation: Lenm., Delect. Sem. Hort. Hamburg. 1843:8 (1843).

Synonymy: Stenopetalum procumbens Hook., Hook. Ic. 7:t. 610 (1844); M. procumbens (Hook.)F. Muell., Fragm. Phyt. Aust. 2:142 (1861); M. coolgardiensis S. Moore, J. Bot. Lond. 35:162 (1897).

Description:
Prostrate herb, glabrous, with stems 5-25 cm long; basal leaves spathulate, entire to pinnatisect; cauline leaves narrow-obovate, entire or shallowly lobed.

Sepals 1-2.5 mm long; petals 1.3-2.5 mm long, white to pink or mauve.

Silicula obovate to elliptic, 3.5-7 mm long, 1.5-3.5 mm wide, flattened; septum absent; pedicels erect or spreading, to 15 mm long; seeds oblong to ellipsoid, 0.3-0.4 mm long.

Distribution:  Grows in arid to semi-arid regions.

S.Aust.: NW, LE, NU, GT, FR, EA, EP, MU, SE.   W.Aust.; N.S.W.; Vic.

Conservation status: native
