Description:
Almost glabrous perennial, 8-20 cm high; stem creeping, rooting at the lower nodes and ascending; leaf blades reniform to almost orbicular-cordate, 5-22 mm long, 10-45 mm broad, with 7-9 broad shallow obscurely crenate lobes, the sinus deep and narrow; stipules membranous, almost orbicular, obtuse, entire; peduncles filiform, 2-12 mm long, much shorter than the petioles.
Flowers subsessile, 8-20 in a small globular head; involucral bracts minute, narrow-ovate, acute.
Fruits very flat, c. 1.5 mm long, c. 2.5 mm broad, with prominent acute dorsal and intermediate ribs; carpophore absent.
