Long-shoot leaves 2.8-9 mm long; leaf blades 0.8-2.2 mm wide, elliptic, oblong, ovate or obovate to narrowly so; foliar length:width ratio 1.8:1 to 5.7:1, usually 5:1 or less; mid-vein inconspicuous to abaxially raised, not broad or flat or very prominent; ovules 7-18.

Taxonomic notes: In addition to those varieties of F. pauciflora cited above, Summerhayes also described var. longifolia [J. Linn. Soc.(Bot.) 48:365 (1930)] based on specimens from both S.Aust. and W.Aust. Specimens cited and/or annotated by Summerhayes as vat. longifolia which I have seen correspond to both vars. fruticulosa and gunnii here. However, since I have not seen the type specimen of var. longifolia from W.Aust., I do not know with which of the two varieties recognised here it is synonymous.
