Eriostemon verrucosus

Synonymy: Not Applicable Common name: Bendigo wax-flower, fairy wax-flower.
Description:
Small shrub to 60 cm high; branchlets glandular-verrucose, glabrous; leaves lacking stipules, sessile; lamina obcordate, 6-15 x 4-7 mm, glabrous, glandular-warty on the lower surface.
Inflorescence axillary, 1-3-flowered; sepals rounded, c. 1 mm long, margins thin, ciliolate; petals elliptic, 5-6 mm long, white, sometimes pink; stamens with filaments flattened, sparsely ciliate; carpels 1-1.5 mm high, glabrous; stigma slightly spreading.
Cocci slightly spreading, 5-6 mm long, apiculate; seeds compressed, c. 4.5 mm long, smooth, black.
