Eremophila oppositifolia ssp. angustifolia

Common name: None

Description:
Eventually forming a small tree with a well defined trunk c. 3 m tall; leaves terete or subterete with a slightly flattened adaxial side, rigid, 24-70 x 0.7-1.3 mm.

Distribution:  S.Aust.: NW, EP.   W.Aust.

Flowering time: mainly May — Oct.

Biology: The only record for var. angustifolia is from near Emu but some intergrade forms with var. oppositifolia appear to exist in the western part of the Gawler Ranges. In S.Aust. this species is known to hybridise with E. scoparia, E. maculata and E. serrulata but in all cases the hybrids are extremely rare and known from single localities.
