Synonymy: Atriplex glomulifera, Chenopodium myriocephalum, Dysphania myriocephala

Common name: None

Description:
Lateral flowers of the glomerules: perianth-segments 1 rarely 2; claws filiform to linear, readily separating from the pedicel.

Seed broadly compressed-obovoid to bluntly lenticular; pericarp smooth or minutely punctulate; fruit and perianth-segments shed separately.

Distribution:  Found principally along banks of rivers and muddy areas but also recorded from forests, hillsides and as an agricultural weed.
