Description:
Annual 3-18 cm high; stems ascending, branched, terete, pubescent; leaves oblanceolate to broadly linear, 1-5.5 cm long, 1-7 mm wide, pubescent, with a prominent mid-vein, the lower ones attenuate at the base, the upper ones subamplexicaul.
Capitula terminating each branch, solitary on pedicels 3-10 mm long, c. 1 cm diam.; involucral bracts lanceolate, unequal, 4-8 mm long, pubescent; ray florets 7-9; ligules c. 2 mm long, oblanceolate, entire, white.
Achenes c. 3 mm long, brown; pappus bristles 4-5 mm long; pappus scales 6-8, 4-5 mm long, acute, minutely serrulate, straw-coloured; disk florets 3-5.
