Dennstaedtia davallioides

Citation: T. Moore, Parker's cat. (1858).

Synonymy: Dicksonia davallioides R. Br., Prod. Fl. Nov. Holl. 158 (1810).

Common name: Lacy ground-fern.

Description:
Rhizome long-creeping, 3-5 mm thick; fronds 0.5-1 m long, triangular to lanceolate, tripinnate, soft and membranous; stipe dark-brown, glabrous except at the base; rhachis and midribs pubescent; pinnules finely dissected; sori small, c. 0.5 mm diam., terminating the vein at the base of the sinus; indusium cup-like.

Distribution:  S.Aust.: SE.   Native to Qld; N.S.W.; Vic.; Tas.

Conservation status: naturalised
