Citation: Ising, Ising, Trans. R. Soc. Aust. 78:113, fig. 2(1-7) (1955).

Derivation: Latin carina, keel; valva, valve; in reference to the keeled valves of the silicula.

Description:
Herb, erect, to 30 cm tall, glaucous and glabrous; leaves to 6 cm long, pinnatisect, with 3-6 pairs of pinnae.

Sepals 4-5 mm long; petals narrow-linear to lanceolate, to 15 mm long, green-yellow.

Silicula obovate, c. 11 mm long, c. 6 mm wide, obtuse to notched; valves flattened, boat-shaped; mid-vein conspicuous, septum narrow; pedicels erect, to 5 mm long; seeds ellipsoid, 1-1.5 mm long, c. 70 per locule.
