Synonymy: Not Applicable Common name: Blue grass-lily. Leaves grass-like, linear or narrowly lanceolate.
Description:
Inflorescence often a simple raceme, sometimes a few-branched particle with ascending branches; flowers several in the axil of each of the more or less crowded bracts; perianth 7-10 mm long, lilac-blue to deep-blue: ovules 2 in each cell.
Capsule usually 1-seeded, dehiscent.
