Description:
Annual herb to 13 cm high; stems few-branched from the base, erect to ascending, weak, sparsely pilose; basal leaves linear or narrowly oblanceolate, entire or l-3-toothed, 2-7.5 cm long, glabrous; cauline leaves linear or pinnatisect with 3-5 linear acute segments, 1-6 cm long, glabrous.
Peduncles filiform, with I or 2 reduced leaves near the base, 3-7 cm long, glabrous; receptacle conical, c. 2 mm diam.; involucral bracts 12-15, oblancolate, obtuse, 3-5 mm long, glabrous with entire apices; ray florets 10-16; ligules oblong, c. 6 mm long, white; anthers with terminal appendages.
Achenes thickened, cuneate, 4-angled, c. 1.5 mm long, compressed with 4 ridges but no distinct margins, glabrous, brown; lateral ridges entire or slightly tuberculate; pappus prominent, of free subequal bristles.
