Boronia edwardsii

Citation: Benth., Fl. Aust. 1:312 (1863).

Synonymy: Not Applicable

Common name: Island boronia.

Description:
Shrub to 50 cm high; branchlets setose; leaves 3-foliolate; petioles to 1.5 mm long; leaflets sessile, lamina obovate to elliptic, 2.5-8 x 2-3 mm, margin recurved, setose on the upper surface, paler beneath.

Flowers terminal and axillary in 1-3-flowered cymes; flower-stalks 2-bracteate towards the base; sepals ovate, acute, c. 1 mm long; petals 4-7 mm long, pink; filaments glandular and thickened towards the apex; anthers with recurved slender acute apicula longer than the anther cells; stigma globular.

Fruit and seed not seen.
