Description:
Stipules 2-6 mm long.

Spike branched or with clusters of flowers in the upper leaf axils; stamens 4-6, 3-5 mm long.

Fruits almost obpyramidal, with 3 or 4 longitudinal ridges formed by the concrescence of the thickened bases of the 3-6 longer spines; 6-30 shorter spines.

Distribution:    N.S.W.; Vic.
